Srikanth, one of most handsome actors in Tamil cinema, comes together with his launch director, Sasi for "Poo". The Srikanth-Sasi duo which had earlier delivered a hit in Roja Kootam are very confident of Poo recreating the magic. Heaping laurels on Srikanth , director Sasi said, 'Srikanth is a very talented artistes in Tamil cinema. He has performed with ease and élan'. Poo is sure to give Srikanth the break that is long over due to him.

ReplyDeleteTamil cinema has created kind of stereotype when it's about rustic character, I'm talking about visual stereotype that is to say, physical appearance.
ReplyDeleteSo it's gonna be hard for srikanth with his look to suit to this kind of character, he looks like a chocolate boy and not like rustic guy. But I think if he has worked hard he can convince us with his body language.
Futhermore, if some youngster like Barath who has been introduced o tamil cinema as a city teen in boys can succed in rustic character, why not srikanth?
Let's watch the movie then I tell you guys if acts well or not as a rustic guy

ReplyDeleteyes he really can.It all comes down to being the character and I honestly feel that apart from rojakuttam,he didn't get a role where he could express himself as any typical person would.Hope this movie would help him to do that.
